Cylindrical roller bearings are designed so that the rolling elements and raceways are in linear surface contact. This enables the bearing to absorb high loads in the radial direction. Cylindrical roller bearings belong to the category of separable bearings and, depending on the design, either the inner ring or the outer ring can be removed. This enables easier assembly. Single row cylindrical roller bearings are supplied as NU, NJ, NUP, N and NF depending on the requirements, N, NU and NJ Design are preferably used as floating bearing units. Double row cylindrical roller bearings are available in NNU, NNF and NN designs. Bearings with 2 sets of shoulders per ring can only withstand axial loads to a limited extent. CMI cylindrical roller bearings are designed with steel (designation: J), brass (designation: M) or plastic cages (designation: TV or TVP), depending on the requirements.
